can anybody give me a recent report on the bend/bachelor riding areas? I'm curious how things have faired since this warm and windy weather we've been having. Thanks!

p.s. anybody going riding next week? Looking for somebody to ride with in the Bend/Bachelor area.

I've been up the last 3 weekends and last weekend the snow has finaley settled. I dodn't think there will be much powder but there is a good base to cover all the mines. when are you going to be down here.

I will be there This saturday through next Friday. The only days I won't be able to ride are Saturday and Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday would be the best days for me, but if you're wanting to ride with us I'd do whatever works for you. We're going to be staying in Redmond

Went to Paulina Sat and Sun. By Sun, the parking lot was almost snow free. With the 50+ temps this week, I don't know if I'll be able to get the sleds off the trailer next weekend. With the recent weather, maybe I'll go to the lake.

I went up to the 3 creek snow park and there was plenty of snow to ride out of there. Give me a call at 425-327-3350 if you think you might be able to ride or direct me to a better riding area. I just thought that snow park would be good because it's only 25 miles from where I'm staying and it looked like it would take me to the base of the sisters. Looks like good riding from down below, correct me if it's not please! I've never riden in Central Oregon. Thanks.

3 Creeks is great if you are familiar with the area. If you are just using it as a conduit to get to the back side of the Dutchman play area (Moon Mt) the trail ride in is a long one, closed on either side to riding for much of it, can be rough, and you may want to pack extra fuel. That way when you do get to the good stuff, you aren't out of gas in an hour. Not to scare you off, but I'd find a local, or try one of the more open riding areas first.

Hoodoo has more open play areas that aren't hard to find. Although it tends to rain more than other area's so check the forecast.

any chance you could give me a call with directions to some decent riding areas? 425-327-3350

David
