We are interested to learn how many belts people have blown this season so far. If possible would just like to list elevation you ride, miles so far and belts blown. Thanks in advance for helping us learn!! ❄

3 in 329 miles. Most miles 2000' to 5000'. All junk removed, nose vents and xtreme air vents and all clutching available at the time. Shr Ramps ordering tomorrow. Still hot.

Blown 2 strings on 2 separate belts, exploded one and wasted 2 more from excessive wear for a total of 5 belts. Tons of belt dust, worse after the exploded belt. Roughly 700-750 miles. Summit X 165X3", stock. Ride Jackson Wy area, 6500-10500 mostly.

Have given up on stock parts and moved on.

0 blown belts

350 miles from 7-10k feet (stock summit clutching, clicker 3 most of the time, clicker 4 if its DEEP)
150 miles at 1500 feet (stock summit clutching, clicker 1)
removed all foam
clutch cover not modified

5 sleds in our group 300 to 500 miles each no belt so far, all had foam removed and weight added. Had some early signs of belt slip and heat in the first 3 after that we did the mods on all of them. Good enough to ride without problems but definitely not perfect.
Riding between 2500 and 500 right now.

After breaking in Stock belt for 40 miles removed all sound material and riding at 0-2500ft on stock high clutching clicker 1 pulled cord on belt at 80 miles, yes it was over revving. Since then I had dealer put in Sea level kit and I switched to gates belt. Was still slightly over revving on clicker 3 so put heavier high altitude pin bolts back in and at 500ft elevation clicker 3 in about 6" fresh on firm based hitting 8000max rpm, should be perfect in the deep now. If not will drop to click 2 or 1. Have to say though with sea level kit machine is much smoother at engagement and not nearly as Jerky on bottom end 0-10mph.

One broken belt
1,300 miles on sled
6,000-8,500 ft.

Belt broke at 300 miles in over the hood pow on a very long full pinned pull. Foam removed, drilled cover, always set at right deflection, and don't let it rev over 8,000 rpm.

In addition before the first belt broke it was pulling 8,000 rpm on clicker one. After the belt broke I have to have it on clicker four to get the same 8,000 rpm. I cleaned it out good, but something's wrong...

Clickers on pDrive don't work like the older TRA. Doesn't control top RPM, but rather how the clutch revs. That said, if there was a noticeable change after blowing a belt, that's cause for concern. Have you pulled your primary to confirm no cords in the seal?

800 miles ...0-Belts(still looks new)

1000ft..951, 150/250,19.5gr. venting in shock tower and bottom pan, belt guard cut and insulation removed..best sled ive ever owned by far
