Belly Buster Weights

Is anyone running BB weights on a Pro? Is there enough gain to to pay double the price of polaris weights for them?

There are better weights on the market, you might pay for them but there are better sets of weights.

60's on a well running Pro above 9k. Run the same weight BB as 10 series, stock motor. Poo recommends 10-60's 8-10k. That's what I've run, and it's right on the spot.

Snowies'9-11k and i run 58s at 8250 constant,,,,so I guess mine must not be running good!

I think you would be happier with 60s... 62s will be too heavy that high up

This!

I'm running 62's at 4-8,000' on a stock sled and it's dialed. The BB's give a sick holeshot compared to stock but not impressed with how how hard they push at WOT. May try EPI 64's next when I go with a head and can which will pull more rpm's.

Have FUN!

Do you have to reshim the clutch when going to belly busters? Or do they run the same as the stock 10 series? I see in the service manual that polaris even recommends reshiming when going from 10 series to 11 series.

Iam running heavy hitters and love the adjustability on my d7 and now these are full adjustible while still in the sled. I will be purchaseing these this year fett bros dont seem popular with the mountian crowd as there thought of a trail/lake racer setup. I ride 7/8s of my time in the trees on and off the throttle need super quick up shif & backshift and the heavy hitters are working awsome.

I'm ordering a weight similar to the Fettbros. ones. They are called Thunder Products heavy hitters. I used them years ago with good luck in a xc700.. Lots of heel weight adjustment...

I see the ones Fett Bros. are selling are actually Daltons. 440dart are you running the Daltons from Fett Bros. or the actual Heavy Hitters. I ran HH's in my '01 800 and SLP MTX's in my '06 900. Would like to go back to an HH style weight for my Pro just for ease of adjustability. Drilling/replacing rivets on the MTX's is a pain, imho.

Iam running heavy hitters they have two holes on the underside and the only adjustible when in the sled is the heel. The new weights that fett bros are selling they are like the heavy hitters but are fully adjustible on the sled. How they do it iam asumeing by the long allen wrench in the picture lets say your adding some tip weight well you would add the tip weight through the heel it will screw in all the way to the tip. I went with heavy hitters as i didnt want to mess with the rivets ect sounds like a PIA the HH have been working awsome for me i hope to be going to the new style as the clutching bug has bitten me hard lol.

440dart, thanks. I have run the HH weights before and do like the ease of adjustability. I'll have to check out the Dalton option a little more.
