Two great beers from Sierra Nevada brewing co. are:
-Ovila Dubble (Belgium abby ale 7.5%)
-Narwhal Imperial Stout (10.5%)
I enjoy trying various micro brews or sometimes brew my own.

Some micro breweries make some pretty good beer...
I like to try local brews if available where ever I go.

Big fan of Ska Brewing out of Durango Colorado, their IPA modus hopperandi got me through lots of chemistry homeworks in college. Kokanee is great for wrenching. PBR after a few heavier beers on a late night. But hell I enjoy most of them. Someone mentioned Spotted Cow out of Wisconsin, buddy of mine used to haul boxes and boxes of their brews back out to colorado each time he visited family in Wisconsin. Good stuff!

I live in Fort Collins, so I generally drink one of the local brews.

If I am drinking a classic domestic, I prefer Coors Light.

Now were talkin. Can't wait to get out west this winter and snag some rainier. Cheap and good. Im a coors light guy, but im not too picky. Spotted cow, as others mentioned, is pretty damn good too.

Grain Belt Premium

Won the "best" of the cheaper beers beating out the big name brands that we're all familiar with. I'm sure it tough to find outside of the midwest though.

Schell's brewing is doing a great job with their whole product line including the 1919 root beer for the kids.
