BDX Bumper Thoughts?

I'd be interested in a kit, just bumper, no drop brackets as I have Timbersled's.

I have a question about the strength of it though. It looks like the design might be prone to bending if I had to tow my buddy's XP out again. Has anyone with a Cat kit mentioned this?

I have personally towed sleds out from off trail locations multiple times, however I have not ever used a bungie.

We have not have anyone bend one yet or that they have let us know!

Would be good if it could be made to tie into the Timbersled drop brackets' bottom bolts on the tunnel for a little more rigidity.

I haven't talked to Mike for a couple of days so i don't have a latest update. I know he has sent out for the extrusion for the drop brackets but i haven't heard an update or seen pictures of the bumper/tunnel area yet. I am anxious to see what they come up with and can't wait to get my sled back!!!

Last I talked to Mike, he told me Feb, I got a Skinz instead it turned out pretty nice.

It will be happening! I know Mike hasn't responded but they have been swamped since it is the middle of the season, but they are working on it. They had my sled in their shop for about a month looking at things to build and getting ideas and they got some prototype dropbrackets being built and are configuring the bumper/rear tunnel area. I used my sled between christmas and new years so they didn't have it but when i bring it back soon they should be ready to put some parts on it. So it is taking longer than we originaly thought but it should be worth it when it is done.

as long as there is still something coming I will wait, sounds great!!:)
