BDX Bumper Thoughts?

OK here is where we are at; we have the Nytro upper idler brackets out. I need everyones (those who are interested) input.

I think we will give a couple of options on the bumper;
  • A shorter bumper slightly longer that the bumper at the beginning of this post for those that want to retain the stock idler brackets
  • A longer bumper that will include new brackets. The brackets we are planning at this point to be 1 piece.

So again, any thoughts on this?

I think the idea of two options is great. I think I would like to have the longer bumper and new brackets included with the package. It would be nice to be able to see both and make the choice.

Mike, when you say the brackets will be one piece, did you mean the running board support and the drop brackets will be one piece? Pictures would be great, thanks

Sorry I should have explained, the drop brackets will be one piece, the running board supports will be another piece. I have just noticed some aftermarket drop brakets are 2 piece, not that that is bad or anything, just stating ours will be one piece.

Thanks Mike, yeah I'm looking for that kit (longer bumper), I just don't need the drop brackets, I already have Timbersled drop brackets. So longer bumper kit with non stock brackets pushing the running board supports further towards the front of the sled, correct? Thanks for you patience.

Just drew up the plans for the brackets today. Will try better at updating..

Going to see if we can get the other ones out sooner.

OK here I am again, here is what I have for you people.

For those that have aftermarket drop brakets currently, the kit will retail AROUND (don't quote me yet) $229.95 - $239.95.

For a kit with Pro-Lite drop brackets $329.95 + / -

For Brackets alone probably $129.95

The brackets will be one piece...

Anyone still interested? If so we will get after it!!!!

Mike, I believe you know my answer. I'll take an aftermarket kit, just tell me what to do to order.
