Bad idea????

i feel like a ***** but im not runnin it maybe next year i heard a guy ran a brand new out the box in bozeman and did good but he must have more money than me cause this sled is gonna get rode hard enough this winter

It was a Arctic Cat Rep's sled and it was ridden by a guy from the local dealership. The sled also had 600 miles on from last years demo rides.

thanks for all the ifo that makes up my mind 600 miles is different than 20 miles im not runnin even though it would probably alright cause after 20 miles the rings have already been properly seated as much as they will ever get

I think you should! WHY NOT? I see absolutely no reason not to. I have rebuilt a engine, new crank n all on a friday and went riding on saturday and i never once had a problem. I ran it on the track stand to get the engine good and warm. Then cooled it down, i did this a few times and rode it like i stole it. When in doubt don't back out right!

my dealer told me not to mix the tank like the book says just to splash some oil in the tank then fill the prem. and to ride it not to be easy but not to be too hard on it but i still needed to RIDE it

My dealer told to do the premix first tank. Wonder whos right? I would like to know so if I really wasnt supposed to premix the first tank like I always have on all my new sleds, I can dump out the premix and put straight in.
