Are the US Olympians getting screwed over or what?

I haven't watched the games, pretty much what I expected. Win at all costs. All hale the mighty China Socialist system.

So, whats the deal with Taiwan? Are they not at the games, or are all their medals claimed by China?

Looks like 2 of them pulled it off though Gold and Silver.

I thought the same thing about the men too. Seemed like China was getting a little better scores than the rest without the extra performance. But maybe that's just me. I'm not a big fan of judgement based competitions to begin with. On another note our swimmers are racking them up left and right.

Well, all is right with the world again...Americans took gold and silver. It certainly shouldn't have been so close though. The Chinese girl almost fell off the beam at least 5 times and she scored her personal best - ridiculous!

And yeah, that Nastia Liukin is pretty easy on the eyes and she's 18 so it's okay to look :D

Taiwan has basically zero chance of winning any medals unless there's a competition for making sneakers for Nike. They'd sweep the medals if that's the case

Something is F'd up with the scoring on the boxing matches.

So it's just like every other boxing match I have seen.

I pretty much hate any sport that requires a judge to rate your performance to be involved.

I mean, I have an appreciation for the sport, but I pretty much hate the judging.

I think it woud be better if you rounded up 15 people who have never seen the sport and let them decide who won.

i'm going to ASSUME that he's ASSUMING they're on roids!!!!

There's no doubt they'll be tested.
Seems like the U.S. is just toying with the comepetition during the 200-400 meter programs. Most of the wins have been in the last 50 meters where they turn it on and take the lead.
Even last night when Phelps took the win with the 100m butterfly. He was behind the entire race until the last 50' and somehow (even though the Serb was there first, and seemed to have his hand on the wall first) won by 100th of a second.
