Just talked to Howard - they should have the main pad plowed out a little better this year. Got our spaces, and more of them... 514-518

i got my pad # 499. I will be in a brown dodge with an inbed lance camper pulling a 2 place with 3 sleds.

They always say they are going to do a better job plowing this year. And they always disappoint too.. Definitley not your 70 foot long pads like they promise.

The snow was really windblown last weekend when drove by, its been too cold up here to ride. Summit and paxson should get some snow this week things have warmed up and clouds have moved in. chance of snow there all week. I went three weeks ago and it was really fun, a couple feet of fresh snow. We are supposed to have highs in the 20's this weekend I will go up there for sure, let ya know the conditions.

The conditions are ok, I went to paxson two weeks ago and it was fun light dry powder. The swamps and trees were good. Last weekend we rode summit around the tit, and it was really bad avy conditions, all the snow had a windblown layer on top. I actually set a small slide off on the side of the tit, I ve never seen that slide. I also seen another group set one off up in a valley in the mountains. Down low the alders still need a couple feet of snow to cover them up. I hate to say it but right now I think we have even less snow than last year at the same time. I was comparing pics and vids of last year at the same time. I had some friends ride back to Mclarren, they said there was good snow back there. Hopefully March provides us with some snow.
I heard that Crowleys will not be selling fuel there this year. Anyone else heard that or know if its true?

I just called Tim... one of the organizers for Arctic Man and he laughed when I asked him if it was canceled. He told me he is headed down there next week to clear the parking areas. Cheers, i will see you and everyone else there.
