My sleds over the last 10 years have been

03 RMK 700 151
06 M7 162 LE
09 M8 162 SP
11 M8 153 SP
12 M8 153 SP
13 M8 153 LE

I personally love the 12 an 13 chassis. I could never go back to the 05-11 M chassis. They feel like a tank in comparison.

The 08-11 steering effort is about 10 times more.
The 12 and 13 are 10 times better in the bumps.
The 12 and 13 lay over easier and are more nimble and flickable IMO
The 12 and 13 get more power to the ground. The feel snappier.

The 12 and 13 do require you to ride further forward on the sled IMO.

I would go for the 13 LE. The new HCR style cooler works awesome. The tunnel and running boards never clog up, period! The footwells just a little bit. Compared to my 11 M8 it is night day. I never have to kick the boards or tunnel, just the footwells. I tried to ride an 11 with snow eliminators the other day and couldn't keep the boards clean. So frustrating!

Just my 2 cents

Owned and rhode a 12 proclimb 162" last season. After getting belt issue fixed after eating 3 of them in 400 miles and putting 3 grand into it in mods, I finally liked it fairly well. I can tell you this, you will like a new Pro alot better IMHO.................

So you cured a belt burner. Do tell. I hope you called Arctic Cat and let them know too.

So how do the PC's compair to the M's? The M's always felt like boats to me, big, clunky, ride way back on the boards like a edge chassis polaris. Look and preform well but the ergo's felt dated IMO. A rev to a M would be a step backwards IMO. :face-icon-small-con

Are referring to a MC? M's are stand up rider forward chassis. Not as much as an XP rev nothing like a edge pol.

I was a die hard skidoo rider. Then I road a buddy's 12 RMK.... I thought ok that's it out with the doo in with the Polaris! I went to the dealer and he was such a dick I walked out. The next weekend a friend invited me to a Cat demo day. I fell in love. I bought a 12 HCR. We're not as flickable as the Polaris it is very comfortable, it's been totally dependable and a boondocking mother f$&!. I road on without recalls and updates...1000 miles and had all updates done this summer. While my buddy smoked his Polaris 1300 miles in! Hahaha! My complaints. In deep powder boards tend to clog. HCR must have Aftermarket venting kits added if not the will get hot on you. Just too much motor crammed in without proper venting lastly the factory bumper is ****. You must add a good bumper and not the junk upgrade the dealer sells. About a grand in mods and your good. I could'nt be happier!!!
