Arctic Cat Pissing me Off -----read on-----------------------------------------------

Arctic cat is pissing me off!! I go riding on Feb. 21, sled dies on long pull, rolls and flips to the bottom. The sled is pretty broke up. I get home do some researching, find out that Arctic cat just put out a recall do to the ECU leaning out at elivation and piston cease will occur. I take my sled that is still under waranty to the dealer. Come to find out they won't take the motor down because it still runs and they can't see any thing from the exhaust port. This doesn't make me very happy. Anyway, they said they would get the recall parts with in a few days. I get a call a week later...they tell me now the recall is on back order and they won't get the parts until March10th. I would think when you put out a recall you would have the parts necessary, guess not! I call on the 10th, one day before I needed to leave for the Yellow Stone expo and NO PARTS! The sled was SUPPOSED to display our product and provide me a sled for ridding after the show. I call my dealer today and still no recall parts! This is BS!! I bought a new sled so I could just ride with no breaking and dicking with it every five seconds.
I'm thinking Polaris, Skidoo or maybe even John Deer for the next sled.

ive been there too.it sucks.3 months of no riding and 3 engines later they figured out ecm update #1.seems like they would have the bugs worked out 2 years later.guess not.

you've only got two things, a sled that has a problem that needs to be fixed and a crappy dealer... it's hard to find good help these days and the product sometimes is only as good as its dealer to a point...
 
That is true. If you still need them we have update parts , just let me know. A good dealer should have FOUND you an update kit. At least called dealers in the area to see if anyone had one. IMO.

Hey, you know anything about a girl at the bar holding a freshly cut tree top while reading the back of SOMEBODYS shirt that said, "Tree huggers suck?" Funniest thing I've seen in a loooooong time!!!! BTW hopefully AC steps up and makes it right with you on your sled.
 
i feel your pain

To much to list in the two seasons i have had my sled, to many fights with the dealer and to maney calls to AC im almost done with sleding whice sucks because i just got into it and really liked it but you pay 12000 for a sled and all the sh*t and abuse is free

Id go pick your sled up and take it to yellowstone and drag it up in front of the cat booth with a polaris and them ask them what to do I would bet money they would have it at a dealer and fixed within a day:D

or park it next to cat booth with a big pic of the wreak and a forsale sign...
F/S new m1000.dies on the hills and cat wont fix it.
 
mine did it on the trail but scared the exhaust side only of the pto piston and jug, I rode it the rest of the day but could feel the loss in power. took it to tom at mountain valley in cody and had it back by friday without anything out of my pocket. looked like a cold seize but we where 6 miles down the trail and I was riding with tom, no questions asked.

any one in the Spokane area this is the arctic cat dealer you want to go to. They have bent over backwards to help me out. And they even seem to know what is going on. I would not waste my time going to the one dealer in Spokane What a joke.
 
You need a new dealer,

Face it, as complicated as new sleds are its not if but when things do wrong. I think you will find as history shows you are with the most reliable brand. As someone allready eluded too you should try a poo 800 or better yet a 900. Talk about a company known to bone its customers!
