looks like Hardin mt got scammed to me

"The guy's brilliant. If he had been able to do honest work, he probably would have been a gazillionaire," Carella said.
Court documents show Hilton has outstanding judgments against him in three civil cases totaling more than $1.1 million.
As for Hilton's military expertise, including his claim to have advised forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, those interviewed knew of no such feats. Instead, Hilton was described alternately by those who know him as an arts dealer, cook, restaurant owner, land developer, loan broker and car salesman — always with a moneymaking scheme in the works.

So what did the town do? Build a jail, and no one came? They must be in serious debt to let this con man play them like this. They have time to redeem themselves. Run'em out of town.
 
but on a good note I'm glad this happened, this oughta put other private LEO wanna-be's on notice!!

no one really knows just yet what happened.

but from what I read, it sounds as if this con man from california showed up with 3 mercedes benz's and made some promises.
This dude created APF from nothing, made some lies and gave himself some false background to pitch this con to Harding MT. He told them they'd have free health care at the jail, they'd police the town and gawd knows what all else. I'd imagine some kick backs to the town leaders. He had em all drooling.

The local LEO's then slapped some stickers on the sides of the mercedes and drove around town and really stirred up the interweb conspirists.

now they realize the chit storm they created and are on lockdown wondering wtf to do now.

They took the guns in katrina as a trial run in 2006. They will try to take our guns again.

Seems like the city administration got greedy first, building the prison and now have attracted another guy just like themselves. They tried to sucker Obama but got another BS artist much like him. There ain't no pie in the sky, folks.
