Anything new/changed on Pros

Just checked out the Polaris website and saw the new colors/options, prices(gulp) etc. Did they change anything with the actual sled design? I am guessing not.

Straight rails on the 163.

The running boards were refined from last year for more strength.

Taking a stellar design and making small refinements.

In this day and age we have gotten used to "new input" all the time, I guess.

I'm sure that they will be refining the engines, making sure that any glitches that were observed in the '11 sleds are corrected and improved upon.

It sounds like the Pro is good enough that BNG and small refinements could keep it current for the next 5 years like the M. Not so with the 800iq and the 9.

All Polaris needs to do is fix the 800 and they are all set. The Pro chassis, rush suspension, and all of there other motors are all fine. But I hope their future direct injection motors don't mess them up.

What about the front bumper upgrade? was that available last year, and was it worth a crap?

If it's new, why wouldnt they have upgraded the rear bumper also?

Thanks for that link. I think I will tell Skinz to go pound sand. I'm tired of waiting for delivery of their products. I might just try that under seat bag.

I find it interesting that Polaris now has an 'Extreme' bumper. I guess that is how they acknowledge that their stock bumper is too weak. Makes me wonder why they just don't put the new bumper on the new 2012 sleds.

However, it say "currently unavailable" on everything.

Extra 200 for a spring order color.......thats HUGE BS!!!!!!! I thought that one of the benefits of ordering in the spring is to choose a different color than anyone who buys one in the fall. I know I didnt pay extra to get my silver spring order 2011.

I can't get to the snow check part. It just keeps loading the same page. Can everyone else see the snow check colors?

Works for me. Looks like the spring only 800 pros are $200 more and only diff is color/grapics. Guess they don't want us to spring order anymore.

looks like the one tunnel support above the top boggie wheel is now steel instead of aluminum. some new accesories for 2012. security system.

You do get the choice of a 2 year warrenty and some cash or a 4 year warrenty for free. That 4 year is like $1500 and they wont finance that $ part...makes the snowcheck a good deal for me.

lol ....... after the failure on the 9's and the 08-10 8's they can do nothing but improve

Looking at the specs, the weight is now 438 lbs. Where did they gain 7 pounds?????

438 is the standard RMK, 431 is for the PRO, same as last year. It will be interesting if the new Cat chassis is even in the ballpark....
