In all the years of riding I have never even taken the key out of the ignition switch. It is in and on when I load it on the trailer new at the dealer and still in the same spot when I trade it in.

You do get the choice of a 2 year warrenty and some cash or a 4 year warrenty for free. That 4 year is like $1500 and they wont finance that $ part...makes the snowcheck a good deal for me.

Thats wierd. I financed my total bill for my 2011.parts,oil, taxes,polaris shirt everything. 0% You do want to make sure its payed before 12 months though. I would check again.

Keyless start!

Security system? That's a good one!

Has anyone else noticed that your 2011 will start and run with the hood / instrument cluster removed? This eliminates the key as well. Wouldn't want to run the system with no electrical draw, but it sure makes it easy for a thief to unplugg the harness and ride off with your sled!

To bad they need to be steel or titanium, I replaced mine with a pair I made of 1/4 inch 6061 plate.

The security system is programing in the ECM that will allow it to idle but not rev up. Start it, get dressed, go outside, enter code, Ride. It will not matter if the display and hood are unhooked if the security is set.

i just snowchecked mine on thur. morning, they included freight, set up, and taxes, plus the 4 yr. warranty, all for a super snow check price of $12,050 sure dont think you will get that in the fall...! prices are steep for new sleds but thats what ya pay for, for making them 431lbs! i ordered the spring only orange and black 800, with 155" tarck..

Stop for lunch 40 miles from the nearest trail, start it, enter code and watch it idle cuz the freaking ECM is experiencing a communication problem with the code entry system. NO THANKS!!

I was quoted $11600 plus taxes here for that color. You got a better deal.
