Anyone using Rapid Bike Module

I want to put one on my Nytro and I do not have a turbo. I would like to know if anyone has done this and how good it worked. I have my exhaust done and I think I will do the K@N kit to.

With no boost?

I don't think there are tons of hp gains to be had on a basically stock (engine internals) nytro. Doesn't the RB3 cost like a grand? I think the money would be better spent on weight reduction.. IMO.

Ha, I cant read, you could make changes to your timing as well as fuel with the Rapid bike box. I did see a guy running a stock Nytro last year with an attitude or PL box.


If your not running a turbo, you could run nitrous.

I talked to the rep at powder lites and he said that there is not much hp to gain and he didn't recommend using it in a unturboed sled. I don't think that I am going to turbo my sled I am more of a freestyle backcountry rider then a hill climber so I am not for crazy amounts of power. I am 6'7" 250 so I just need a bit more power to hang with the little guys with the xp's and dragons.
I am thinking of some nitrous so I my go with the boondocker kit now.

call the guys from walt healy in calgary , they have a power up kit that makes the sled way more ridable . it includes clutching intake exaust and a power comander , talk to trent there

Sounds like you need some mild boost, boost increases the boondocking fun factor 100 x. IMO, the other go fast goodies are a waste of money on a 4 stoke compared to even 8-12 #'s boost on pump fuel.

Ya you can never have enough power. I just don't think I am in the 7000 dollar market for a turbo right now but would like to get a bit more power.

i sent my sled up to powderlites to get turboed but before he did the install the rapid bike was installed and tuned. talk to dave about the outcome.
