Anyone have an update for the Snowies?

Wow settle down dude! Us guys from the midwest have no snow to go riding so we are excited to get out in the mountains and do some riding. You don't have to read this stuff if you don't want to. If you are at work don't you have something else to do?

1. I live in Iowa. All we have is a bluff I'm excited to but the snow is there, I was up 3 weeks ago and had good snow.
2. No work is slow today. Counting the hours till I leave for Laramie tonight :face-icon-small-ton

Just tried of is the snow going to be good bAh bah bah

Maybe I need to up my meds :D

woaaaa, woaaaa, i heard Snowies conditions will be crap on Feb 19th. A guy in the bar told me only 11.5 inches base. I would wait a couple days when they are up over 100 :beer;:beer; ;)

The Range is suppose to get a good 3 day storm this Sunday thru Tuesday!! So hopefully this will put us with enough snow to go all over and start climbing the biguns!! So if this happens You will have a great time..
That is the word, supposed to be a good one, first part of it is what hit us Monday. What luck, snow gets good and I have to move all weekend, but I sold the house!!!!! After a year on the market, sure am happy I didn't take it off the market in October. Snow was awesome on the back side Sunday and I only hit one rock!! Following Brandon and Cameron can get you in trouble!!! Should have listened to you Dc!!!:D
We played on the front side Saturday and no one hit any rocks or stumps, we even went down into seven fools a ways. I would stay away from the widow maker for a while though, lots of bare rocks and the water on the gap lakes is not froze all the way yet!!!! Those lakes are pretty deep!!!

I'm heading to the snowys tomorrow, is there a short cut from SML to the back side of the big mountain, so we don't have to ride all the way around it?

there isn't hardly any snow on the notch yet. Your better off just goin all the way around. its really not even worth going through the roller coaster either, not enough snow to play on the widowmaker (yet).

Guess they went through training last week, I bet after this next storm they do, why do you need the trails groomed? Just pin it and make em into triples and doubles, that's fun!! LOL

We met the groomer at Marie on Wed. when we were coming back in, he'd gone clear up to the turn around at Greenrock. Like Joe and others have said there's no way I'd try going through the gap, way too many rocks and not enough snow on the lakes( you all know how well mountain tracks work on ice).

VS.

Big Horns vs. Snowies

Going for a ride on Sunday......I am almost exactly in the middle distance wise. I rode in the Black Hills last weekend and everything is working. I will end up in both places before the end of the year.....If you could choose, which way would you go?

Just got back from the Snowies with Trinity Powder. We found some good snow in the trees, but I burned up a set of hifax to get there. Man, that place needs a lot more snow. More coming this weekend.

I almost burned up a set of pistons and cylinders as well. Great base on the west side, down by French Creek. Not too good anywhere else. Especially if you are the guy with the "custom" front end on either a yellow XP or one of two RMK's with trailing arms. If you come from the mid east and are used to dodging land mines, you'll love it!

I drove up to Green Rock today and took a look. I was surprised on how little snow is up there, I thought there would be much more. I am going to wait until New years day to take the sled up, I don't feel like breaking something. I am not for sure how good it is up on top, but the WyColo area has more snow than Green Rock does.
