Anyone go to Buff Pass today?

How was it? Thinking of heading there tommorow. Might just stay at Vail though, there is almost two feet there. Been wanting to check out buff since ive never been there and i hear there is good snowboardin

The Pass was closed today. When they do that, it means that visibility is too bad to see. The highway is impassable.

Steamboat only reported 8"

If there really is 2 feet plus that it is very tempting to head there Wednesday, where is the best place to drop, muddy creek?

I'll be riding out Muddy tomorrow, as long as I can find the groomers. Yeah!
I'll be there about 11 ish

With all this wind it should be deep on the east side of the ear's down in the aspen. Hope it hold out til Sat.

Buffsnotel was showing over 25" new as of 6pm last night. Now the station is down

Just got back. 17 miles and an empty Gas tank on the turbo. Truely unbelievable snow. Easy 3 ft with places with more. Lots are now cleared, ugly this morning with stuck rigs. I would highly recommend getting sick tomorrow. Started to get sticky And settleing a little when the sun came out, but started snowing when I left. Pics and video later.

Ended up going to vail pass, because vail was claiming 30" in the last 48 hours. Snowboarding and snowmobiling are much more fun when there is a lot of powder everywhere.

yep I am definitely sick tomorrow. did you ride out of Grizzly parking or up on rabbit ears pass? thanks,

edit: as I read up you said you were riding out of Muddy Creek lot.

Just got back from ears, an easy 3'+ of sweet pow. Ran all the sleds out of fuel, extra thanks to the guys in the Escalade in M/C lot for the extra fuel. If your going tomorrow, the snow was pretty set-up when we left at 6:00 but we got there early and tore it up, all the video shows is sky/snow/sky/snow. Best spring day yet, hope we get a few more cold days and dumps, the base is rock solid and was starting to snow again as we left......
