Anyone ever conceal carry when riding?

Kinda obvious, we've carried in a pack, unloaded. Primarily just fun, and habit, but always knowing it would be a valuable survival tool. Canadians sledding in the lower 48 have more fun shooting a pistol for the first time in their lives than sledding.

I read that statute very carefully. You're right. It does say that.
That doesn't make sense.
According to the language of that statute, if the magazine is OUT of the weapon, you are legal.

Can you carry a loaded weapon on a quad?

It is illegal to carry a firearm on a snowmobile in Washington state even with concealed permit. Unless u get a special permit from the director of fish and wildlife.

Additional violations — Penalty.
(1) No person shall operate a snowmobile in such a way as to endanger human life.

(2) No person shall operate a snowmobile in such a way as to run down or harass deer, elk, or any wildlife, or any domestic animal, nor shall any person carry any loaded weapon upon, nor hunt from, any snowmobile except by permit issued by the director of fish and wildlife under RCW 77.32.237.

(3) Any person violating this section is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.

Yes, our brothers from the 51st state sure do love our hand-guns. They shoot up all our bullets in the parking lot when they come down here.

I should have worded my post different. In Washington we have a CPL Concealed Pistol License, That allows us to carry concealed loaded weapons on our person. We are an open carry state, which means everyone is allowed to carry a firearm if it is fully visible to the public. The only way to legally transport a loaded pistol on or in a vehicle is with a CPL, except on a snowmobile.

I wished more people carried from a SAR (search and rescue) aspect, that is people with gun safety knowledge and enough sense to use it as that. It is a life safety tool, I've seen it first hand Save people you'd be amazed how fast you can find someone on a round being fired. But not everyone has a enough sense to use it as that. Just my 2 cents.
