Anyone disappointed with their SLP pipe (Stage 2)?

I was wondering if anyone was disappointed with their SLP pipe (Stage II). Was the power commander set up correct was there any noticeable increase in power?

SLP Pipe

Wasn't happy when I first installed on my 2012 Pro. Sled ran strong, but didn't seem to have any more power than stock. After half the season trying various clutch set ups and gearing combos, I still wasn't happy. I finally called Brad at Power Addiction to discuss clutching and overall set-up. He suggested having the Power Commander / TPS syncronization double checked before going any further. I had this done and it was out. Was supposed to have been done when installed, but either wasn't done or was done incorrectly. Substanial improvement. I like it, but the pipe/PCV combo is fairly expensive. Have also installed P.A. head and reallly like it too.

So you bought Brad's PCV then or kept the SLP one and fixed the TPS?

Im asking because I'm thinking about buying the Ultimate Combo Kit from Brad and didnt know if people have had issues with just "plug-n-play" or not?

I have his head and clutching setup already, so I thought this would do just a little more.

I had the same problem, tested different clutch setups etc. And then someone told me about the tps/pc5 sync. The tps on my sled wasn`correct, after the sync it was night and day.

Whats the process for tps/pc5 sync?

1:Get a 12v battery
2: Get 2 wires for ground and positive
3: remove the side panel on the clutch side, look for a connector that is marked with ECM PWR. There is 2 wires, orange is positive+ and brown wire negative -.
4: Make a plug if you dont get those wires to get stuck in the connector, and plug it in. Make sure you have the wires connected in the right place, so you dont get ground on positive etc..
5: Fire up your laptop and pc5 and then connect those wires to the battery.
6: Look for Power Commander Tools, click on that and calibrate will appear. Then Throttle Position will appear, when you click on TP you will get a small pop up box that is titled Throttle Calibration. In this window you will see 3 boxes, minimum voltage, sensor voltage and maximum voltage.
7: Now you click Calibrate, give it full throttle and read the Center Box voltage and type that in to maximum voltage box.

Hope that helps, i have done that several times myself.

Or you could go the easy way. Lift the rear end of the sled up so the track isn`t touching the ground, connect your laptop to the pc5 and start up your sled. Then you follow those instructions above. Find tps calibration etc.
