Any word on building (BOOST) sleds?…

i wouldn't order one and waste the money. if they dont show up with one Polaris will not let the dealer release the sled without the sensor that was supposed to come with it. that was per my dealer. maybe some dealers are different.

Should see updated ship dates from Polaris in the next 24hrs or so.

Polaris missed thier target by a lot. I bet they didn’t even deliver on 25% of the sleds that were supposed to get shipped by the 15th still a few days to go though.

Out of my group of friends out of 8 snow checks 1 was January delivery 3 February and other 4 were December 15 ship date no ones got their sled yet two are in one needs a gauge and one an exhaust probe. This is anecdotal evidence but couple that with large dealers saying they usually receive 10 to 15 sleds a day this time of year and are getting 1-3 this year.
no snow so no big deal yet . How long is everyone going to wait before they back out or is the thinking it will be just as bad next year .

Can one of you Karen's please explain to me why this is Polaris fault that they weren't able to make the ship dates?

Because they think that Polaris manufactures every part on their sled… No home builder manufactures all the parts and pieces in a home, most fake food people eat is made by someone, packaged by another… It’s easier to blame one person, than all the hundreds of others that actual control the supply chain, which equate to delivery dates. Plain and simple, it’s a crazy world out there. I don’t see people complaining that you can’t get 19.5 oc insulation or R-13 insulations[emoji848]

Delays and shortages are freaking everywhere you look!

I think they went off of what their suppliers told them. They wouldn't lie on purpose. And show me one manufacture that isn't dealing with the same problem. If everyone I dealing with it, anyone who has any common sense knows that it couldn't have been prevented. It's not like anyone had to pay for their sled 100%...

I am not saying that they haven't lived up to their end of the bargain, yet.
The last communication I had said they would have it "SHIPPED" BY December 15, 2021.
They still have time to deliver the sled. However it is a bait and switch to say we'd have smart warmers with the 7s display and now there's just the old hi/lo switch.

I understand the delays aren't exactly their fault. Everyone is dealing with it. Just a bit frustrating to see guys getting their sleds and I can't even get an update on mine.

I don't blame Polaris for not having all the sleds delivered already. The history of their snowcheck program speaks for itself. There are lots of contractors, but Polaris is the one to control it all, just like any big manufacturer. I'm glad we got those email updates, we all had expectations for Dec 15th and nobody to my knowledge has got a letter further delaying shipment. I would welcome any communication from Polaris whether it be negative or positive.

In my experience Polaris's customer service has been an A+. Every time I contacted Polaris through the owners connection page (3 times this fall) they have responded with a phone call within an hour or two. I even had a question about the lock and ride flex system and the guy didn't know the answer so he said he would ask somebody more familiar with the accessories and get back to me. I got a call back from that guy the next day.

Also, I have heard that there are close to 7,000 built snowmobiles sitting in Roseau waiting for some final parts like the 7s Display, and Graphics.

There are two 165 matryx boost sleds at my local dealer. Both ready for the new owners to pick them up. From what I under stand they were missing the egt sensor and the dealer just took some from his in stock inventory and installed them onto the sleds for the customers.

Dealers have updated ship dates today, my 155 Boost is now shipping in January. FML

How does your dealer check that? The dealer I purchased from seems unable to check last time I asked. Not my preferred dealer, but only way I was getting a hair dryer.
