I saw someone on FB showing off his new 22 146 Khaos so they are delivering them.Chatting with a large dealer today - said all their 146's have been pushed to Feb due to rail extrusions, per the Poo rep. FWIW. Did see someone said they were emailed a second time last week that their 146 would ship by Dec 15. Dunno. Snowcheck M/cats were moved to Jan. All floor stock cat orders were cancelled by cat. Just what I heard. Looking at the Ascender threads, there were some Hardcore 165s shipping as early as September to some dealers.
My buddy picked up his slash today.

Burandt posted a video today of a production 155" khaos boost with a data logger on it. Looks like Polaris is making some last minute tuning changes, almost wondering if that's what's holding up the boost models. It's been a couple weeks now since Dan Adams/ Matt Entz posted photos of the boost sleds on the assembly line, you'd think they'd be showing up at dealers by now.

And then he deleted the post after people were questioning why the sled was sounding so boggy in the bottom end. He claimed it was improper clutching and within an hour deleted the post. Can’t say this inspires much confidence for those of us paying over 20k for one of these sleds! [emoji51]

I missed that part, was it noticable? so watched the 19 second video he posted after that. Then trimmed it to 17 seconds so no bottom end could be heard. There was a little blubber in the 19 second one. I guess my question is do the big manufacturers ever test ride sleds in the fall before they ship them out?
The dealer got mad at me for putting my hand on the grip of that sled[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] “Sir, thats a sold sled!” Please don’t touch it[emoji1787] [mention]MikeMetzger [/mention]

It’s only altitude compensating up to 10,000 feet I believe. If he is over 10,000 ft. it could be clutched to heavy. This is my first year on a Polaris and riding the demo boost last spring sold me. I am just trying to stay optimistic. I’m happy they are testing production units. But there isn’t snow in my area yet so I won’t be riding til after December 15th anyway. So I say test away!It all seems very unusual to me. To be test riding them at a point where they’re past due for delivery and nobody has seen one yet. To have one of your main ambassadors / pros trimming and deleting videos when people notice how poorly it’s running…. Suggesting it’s only clutching due to elevation but it’s an altitude compensating turbo setup that they claim has been in R&D and on the snow testing for a couple years now [emoji1745] if they send a sled out to Burandt they know damn well what elevation it will be ridden at, so I don’t buy the clutching comment for a second.
For me it just inspires zero confidence. It suggests that they don’t have the setup dialed yet which is possibly what the real delay on the boosts is…? just my opinion but I’m honestly considering selling mine off when it shows up and riding a NA sled or aftermarket turbo setup until they can figure it out.

I agree the whole thing seems strange. At this point they already offered to show people to back out of their SC so i would rather hear the truth about what is going on. And to bring a brand new sled out from Minnesota and not have it close to being clutched right seems like a cover up, I would have went back to their fancy heated trailer and tweaked the clutching and then took a video if it was a little bit off.
100% I Couldn’t agree more. Where did you hear that they’re offering for people to back out of SC orders?
