Any snow reports from Paxson/Summit area?

Anyone have any updates on Summit? I heard there were people going out there but i dont know if you can get from the parking lot up to the snow yet.

Anyone?
 
I doubt that there is rain. I've been going between North Pole and Tok for the last month. If the snow that fell around Dot Lake made it over the moutains, might be theres something back in the hills
 
There was about 5 inches of snow on the road going into the Arctic Man parking lot as of noon 11/11/09. It was snowing when I went through, but I ran out of it by the time I got to Paxson Lodge. It's going to need a lot more before you can go anywhere up there.
 
my wife drove through summit today on way to wassila said it looked like there was no snow there the road going back to suss v hill had more snow than anywhere else said on her way back she would take pics and send them to me here at work so i can post them. very depressining
 
SORRY GUYS but summit is a no go as of today. The good snow we got about a week ago was promptly blown away by 40 mph winds. Afraid we are being punished for last years great early snow.:(:mad:
 
Just got back last night from Summit. It needs a lot more snow we found some ok snow way back but it is very lean pickings getting there.
 
Just talked to someone who lives down at Summit and there really is little if any snow. Better wait for more if you don't want to make the parts departments wealthy.
 
Updates.

Updates:

Summit - rocks still showing on pipline and 4ft of powder behind the tit. Buddy said it was rocky all the way back.

Paxson - Got a couple inches off last storm.

Mclaren Lodge - 4-6 inches and people are still driving out with trucks to the lodge.

Unbelievably late this year. Not even good enough for short tracks yet really.
 
15Dec update

just talked to Paxson Lodge..
Been snowing all night / day - up to 9 inches. They are predicting a least foot + off this storm..
Not sure about Mclaren or Summit..
 
Is anyone driving thru there before Friday? If the snow keeps falling and for another day or 2 and clears a bit by Friday I'll probably be there for the first ride of the year. Is 18" new going to be enough to get accross the bottom?
 
noaa reported 20'' at 5pm today at summit lake no tellin how much it is dumping up hi all we can do is pray!!!!!
