Bracket was bent at cat dealer to make sure thats good.sounds similar to exhaust valves not opening consistently.....couple of posts about arm of power valve binding....bending bracket has helped several guys..
There has also been issues with the powervalve guides in the cylinder jugs. You might also have some binding issues with the secondary helix. I had the secondary issue on my 19, replacing the helix fixed it.Bracket was bent at cat dealer to make sure thats good.
I had put a new belt on and it seemed to
Hold revs like it should for 75-100 miles after that it just went back to revving like this. To me its either servo motor isnt keeping valves open and losing but i dont have error codes that pop up at all. Or engine is weak. I had an 03 f7 did this exact same thing couldnt pull and hold rpms. Dealer ended up doing new top end and then it ripped after that. I had did a quick comp test but i dont trust actual psi number of gauge but it looked about 10 psi less on mag side then pto side. Im getting 600cc hp at these revs might as well trade it in and swap for a 600 lol
Put a new belt on and it will be good for another 75-100 miles. Trail guys over on HCS have confirmed the secondary set-up on these machines is poor and it glazes the belt very quickly. What you are describing is exactly what they are seeing and describing. Making a helix and secondary spring change has eliminated that specific problem for the most part.Bracket was bent at cat dealer to make sure thats good.

Cat can buy my helix and spring then lol. I mean if mostly the clutching then still on them.Put a new belt on and it will be good for another 75-100 miles. Basically the same set up that come on the 600's, why not as pronounced on the 6's?Put a new belt on and it will be good for another 75-100 miles. I'm guessing 120 hp vs 170 hp.Basically the same set up that come on the 600's, why not as pronounced on the 6's?
