Has the accuracy required for this tournament and recent win in Players Championship highlighted a return to form. Could be the strongest of the Europeans.

Gears his whole season around the Major Championships and has had some good finishes in this event. Dangerous.

For someone with 31 PGA Tour victories the US Open hasnt been that successful an event for Vijay. Perhaps this year could change all that?

I will be heading down to Torrey Pines early in the morning trying to catch Phil and Tigers round tommorow! they T off at 1:30 Phil and Tiger have not been paired together for the qualifying round since 1999. SHoukd be a blast following those two around all day!

probably a long shot anyone else going to the event?

And the rest of you keep and eye out for me on TV! I will be the short guy in shorts witht he "SUmmer Sucks" T-shirt!

That is like saying snowmobiling is not a sport. I would put money Tiger is in better shape than anyone on this forum. He has a regular strength and conditioning regime, not to mention the countless balls he hits, and rounds he puts in. Then you add in his swing instruction.

Golf not a sport? Why because it is not a contact sport?

The POINT you missed is you DON'T need to be in great shape to win at golf. To me a sport requires that you be in GREAT shape,

We already covered this. Boxing & UFC are sports arn't they? Is Football a sport? There's a lot of fat guys playing these sports. It doesn't matter what kind of physical shape your in. A sport is when your actions determine the outcome of a game against the other person or team.

No Food/Drink, No cell phones, no cameras, no chairs, no bags allowed larger than 8''x8"x6", no smoking, no pets, no containers or coolers, no ladders , no ladders, no bicycles, no metal cleats, no firearms.....it goes on but you get the point!

There is almost no parking there luckily we have a shuttle running back and forth from the resort we are stayiing at! but general parking is 13 miles away ay Qualcom park with free shuttle service!

No posts in this thread since round 1...do you guys think Tiger will hold everyone off? His knee is killing him and you can just see the pain as he walks. What he's been able to do is nothing short incredible.
