Pam

The wife is going to Billings on Friday, I'll have her grab all that stuff, anything else we need, plastic knives, forks. etc etc
Just talked to Ty; Teresa, Ty's wife will be bringing her famous salsa
Ron

That already was a dangerous MO FO Scott. Did you not hear about the 29 yr old St Maries man that died up HooDoo on Sat? Or at least near HooDoo.

Yes Pam, I knew about that slide a couple days ago...it's in the HooDoo thread. I've talked to the Msla Avy Center already about it. It's been on the TV news also.

What I mean, Pam, is that this new 19" of snow makes it much more dangerous. Pam do you think I am not aware of this year's dangers?:face-icon-small-dis Check the HooDoo thread.

Direction from Deer Lodge

Can someone give some good direction from Deer lodge to the BBQ. Might have some new friends from that way come to the BBQ. I live in Lewistown so don't know what is the best way.
Pam
what else is needed in the way on condiments.

couple different ways to Copper from the state prison Ron...:face-icon-small-win

go west on I-90 towards Garrison and turn there and head towards McDonald pass and I believ there is a turnoff to Avon which can bring ya out on Hwy 200 and into Lincoln, I think?

Thanks Ken

Attention Attention. Spud announced that he will give up riding on the 10th to do the cooking for everyone and also act as the bar tender when he can get away from the grill. He just needs someone to give him a French apron.
Way to go Ken.

There are actually 2 ways to go. You can go Deer Lodge, Garrison, Avon, up MT 141, right onto 200, through Lincoln, about 5 miles out of Lincoln, directly after a good left, right in the road and just after the bridge, take a left onto Copper Creek Rd. About 1 mile down on the left is the parking lot, if there are vehicles and sleds, stop there, otherwise, continue to the Y in the road, stay to your left, over the bridge and just stay on that road until you cannot go anymore. We will try to mark the nearest turnout for enclosed trailers.

The other way, which is shorter, but not so easy, is Deer Lodge to Drummond, back track on the Frontage Rd to the Helmville Rd., go to Helmville, out to MT 141, up to 200 and continue to follow the directions above. The road between Drummond and Helmville is a well maintained gravel road. It is a better option when the roads are icy, but I have no clue how quickly they plow it either.

Cop-Out, we need all the condiments.

Spud, do you want to get the burgers and we can put out a donation can to cover the burgers? Call my cell.

Not sure where the BBQ will be. Depends on where we can park, how many are there, etc... I may take Friday off and go up for a quick ride and to note turn-arounds, BBQ, etc....

Spud, I know, is cooking spuds. Not sure who we are going to get to BBQ. That is a man's job. ;-)

Scott, just be careful at Hoodoo. I am hoping you and your dad and son can make it again this year. I will check the Hoodoo thread.

also new price on angus, $3Lb, ok...
I can bring 96-1/4Lbers 2 boxes

STILL NEED:
Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, Pop, Plates, Buns, Chips, Pop, and Desserts.

We have napkins, plastic-ware, and some plates.

Racin, do you want to brings some cookies and chips?

I really wish we could get a count, but with SW going pay and others moving all over, and the snow being so uncooperative, who knows. Could be 30 and it could be 100. Better plan for 100. (We can always repeat the next weekend)

Please go to Part 2 of this thread.

This way everyone can see what is going on.

The State of Montana paved that road.. WHY I am not sure, but it is now paved.. and it was done well..

On a motorcycle, much better to ride from Drummond to Helmville, climb the hills with the corners instead of riding downhill with the corners.

Pam .I got the Ketchup, mustand ,mayo ,napkins, paper plates,Taco chips. Yesterday. still need to get pop unless someone wants to get that. It seem lat year most people were others stuff.
Ron

now we need advise were to turn around the enclosed trailers

Landers Fork or Snowbank campground would be most logical for a Enclosed 4-place Ron.

Sounds like a LOT of people showing 100+ is my guess if its Bluebird...:face-icon-small-hap
