Altimate supersport boots.....Not the worlds best as advertised...Used one season and started to leak. The only thing I could get out of them was a bottle of waterproofing spray. Expected more for $250

I was not impressed, been in klim boots ever since.
Same here after a couple rides with wet feet the altimates got tossed for klim.
The first set of klims that I had leaked like a sieve also.(don't remember the name but they were the harder boot) I now have a set of klim adrenaline and now my feet stay dry.

Bought some Altimate II's three years ago. My feet were never dry. I finally went to regular hiking boots (leather with waterproofing) and had dryer feet. Klims this year, it solved my problem... 25 rides this year, NEVER a wet foot.
Me and my hubby have the Altimate boots, not impressed....always have wet feet even on the cold days. I'm definitely thinking Klim for the next season. Wished we would have plunked down a little more money to start with and had boots that kept us warm and dry!!

Dry feet - finally
I do not spend as much ride time as many of those on here, but this was the first season since I started (02/03) that I have ridden all day, several days back to back, and had dry feet. Spent $99 at Cabelas for a pair of 2000 gram thinsilate (spelling?) Gortex 14 inch lace ups. These boots were recommended in another thread on boots and my thanks to the poster!
Previous models I have not had dry results with include HMK, Baffin, RUOutside.

HMK has a new pair of boots coming pretty soon. I saw a sample of it at my local dealer. Looks a lot like the Klim. I dont remember the name of the waterproofing but it was not Gore. It is also going to be available in Ladies!!!
