So i've ridden my sks 870miles so far and had the 36" alt impact on since almost day one.
for sure its more tippy on the trail but i can still hammer down the pure trail sleds, its very much up to how good you are adapting to the sled.
i tested my friends standard sks and it was night ant day and he couldnt follow me between the treelines etc
i have some questions do.
is there a more strong lower a-arm that can be bought? broken mine both sides so i replaced total of 4 arms.
any ideas on the heavy steering? i had my suspensions serviced and all winter it felt hard to steer even do i started with the factory setting all the way around and adjusted out from that.
I had Alt a-arms on a doo and the steering effort was considerably more than the stock. I traced it down to Alt's balljoints.. They need to be lubed alot
I used a dry wax bike chain lubricant that stayed on the exposed part of the joint, IMO being able to grease the joint
