Shocks, Alt Imp A-arms, and Alt Imp rear suspsension that's underway Won't be hard, but will be expensive.

Won't be this guy! Im being bugged for a ring, a house, a wedding. But what I need first is a truck, a trailer, suspension stuff. Not to mention the biggest thing, I still need to remember how to ride :face-icon-small-dis

As you can see, I need to remove a few things from things from the list. And after those are gone, then the sled will be in order.

get rid of the wife and looks like the sled is a done deal..just saying...

She tries to put a stop to one more trip, and it's as good as done! :face-icon-small-hap

Im leaning towards a Stroker 250 or 350. I'm a giant, and the extra room up front is what is more enticing.

Well when they ship BD kits they weight just shy of 40lbs. So that means to get all the way to 400... you will need to shave 57lbs off the sled. Good luck, I think you will have enough problems getting back to stock weight.

Thats what i was wondering..... But your weight to hp just increased by ALOT....

Maybe with some crazy carbon fiber chasis with a Aero.. it might be possible. I am not saying its not possible.. just a tall order.

all it takes is a whole bunch of money....right off the bat make the pipe and downpipe from titanium, do it all the time with the bikes and turbo racecars, then all titanium gun drilled bolts, aluminium aircraft heims ect ect ect....just like a racecar it gets insane spendy at a certain point.

hey outlaw
would'nt you minus all the stuff not used with turbo kit ?
like muffler,etc..
thanks g

You can get a non turbo 2013 pro under 400 dry weight quite easy but a turbo adds weight.

Hps can -6.8
Head lt -3.0
Foam -1
Swaybar -1
Windshield -1
Snow flap taillight -1
Skinz freeride seat -2.5 lighter than the 2013 seat
Fox floats front -2
Fox floats rear -3.5
Remove clam shell on stock pipe and ceramic coat -2
Titanium arms -4.5 lighter than the 13 arms.
Titanium rear arms to be determined?
Gut the upper air box -.5

Yea... but then you have to deduct the weight of the stuff that is removed to install the Turbo... like the silencer, airbox etc.

With some goodies like ligher arms, Ti springs, Diamond S hood, etc... a 400 lb turbo sled is within reach without getting too exotic IMO.

.

I will swap you a silencer for the extra fuel can that will need to go on the back and extra fluids for the turbo... :face-icon-small-win

I forgot about the stuff that would need to come off. Regardless, I think its a tall order. Possible, but a tall order.

If you run an Aerocharger turbo... no extra oil tank or fluid weight from that oil.

Depends on that system.

I'd like to see an option from Boondockers that offered an Aerocharger turbo choice in the kit... they would not have to add the complexity or fab costs of the oil tank/pump/oil to the cost of the system... this would offset the cost difference of the Garret compared to the Aero. I would not have to worry about the weight of the oil support, the possibility of an oil system failure (which as been minimal at best with boondocker kits) ... and a super clean install with more flexible mount and clean air inlet options.

HMMM...
A 10 lb boosted, tunnel dumped, EBC controlled, Aerocharger equipped, torque builder intake equipped Boondocker turbo system... HOME RUN for me!

That would be a blast to ride! We recently pulled 30lbs off of one of the race sleds. Lightweight Turbine housing, No muffler, Thin walled pipes, cut here cut there………… Let us see what we can do for a production light weight kit. How about starting with a 600cc. Smaller air box and turbo!!:whip:

actually diamond s has several sleds on the snow with turbos that are less then 400lbs. he even tried to get me to buy one. he said i would let it go for 34.5k. i said to brad that i liked his stuff, just not that much.
