Alpine or Impulse

Hey!!! I don't have to pack fuel now....... so I have room for all your Extra belts and Chains.:D:D Fabing up a custom rack as we speak.....Heard you can Tig weld:beer;:beer;

BC.

I got 12 belts, 2 chains, 3 tow rope's and credit for 2 lifts out from Selkirk helicopters. I should be good till Xmas. LOL:face-icon-small-dis:eek::eek:

I'm searching around and trying to learn about all the kits cause i plan on turboing the apex within a year or 2. My favorite is the new mcx midmount kit, i like mcx cause they got the most experience, Impulse looks awesome but very expensive. I'm really iffy on alpine turbos cause from around where i ride a guy had a brand new alpine turbo apex melt to the ground.

Big Rock, what are you confused about?
I have zero problem with anyone thinking one kit is the best. But if you are going to use false information to make the claim.......
I think mine has the best throttle response of ANY that I have rode, currently 3.5 of them since Dustin's now uses a hybrid sytem, and I rode it in its original form. (Which by the way at that time could equal the response of our machine.). That also does not include Alpine and/or rear mounts, since I have not rode them.

And just fyi, our's is a Boondockers setup, tuned by yours truly.
Does that help?

Confused about your original post, didn't make any sense. What the hell are you talking about "but if you are going to use false information to make the claim"? You still don't make any sense. Do you have me confused with someone else?:confused:. Don't think that I made ANY claims about clutching, throttle response, etc. Get your info correct dude.

My facts are correct DUDE!

I made a statement based on Snowy1's assumption that Impulse has the best throttle response of any kit out there, which is incorrect.
YOU, come on and asked WTF? Did you not? Then you posted TWO confused smilies next to it. Now I may not be a rocket scientist, but that would mean you are confused with my statement. Are you not?
I tried to explain my statement in detail since it seems you cannot follow along.
So here, lets try this again, and follow along with me here.

A claim was made that Impulse has the best throttle response out there based on the fact of the turbo placement. However, I have personally rode three different kits with the turbo in the exact same position, and Alpines looks like its very close as well, making 4 different kits with the same basic header length. So that is a incorrect statement, still follow?
Then the comment was made that you cannot TUNE out the difference. I was being snide when I repeated that. Nothing more.

Still confused DUDE?

Wow, a little sensitive are we? All I said was that your first post was confusing, simply didn't understand what you were saying or what you meant. Then, you follow up with a post directed at me about false information, etc. I never made a post with any of the info that you referred to, so, again, confused as to why you made that assumption. You seem to be way to defensive and sensitive when all I originally was confused about was "While I like Paul and think he has a great kit, I will beg to differ with your assumption that it has the best throttle response out there. Like you mentioned, you cannot tune out the difference....". Seemed like it needed more explanation of what you were talking about DUDE, that's all. If you want to get defensive and over react, so be it. Life's too short for to me to worry about stuff like this. Have a great day DUDE;)

Rozzy. I figure this is a loaded question:rolleyes:...After seeing your new build it confirms just that:)...Congrats on the new sled, it is super Sweeeeet.

just fishin a lil ...... everyone likes fishin?? eh SHERIFF ???:beer;:beer;
P.S. My boy said i can borrow his shirt again if you wanna do gut shots ?? hehehe

A couple dozen Pink Drinks later:eek::beer;...You do have to get a new shirt this year, & not extra small again. I will be 50 this winter & I guess another year of Gut Shots won't kill me... Or will it?

Can't wait to see that thing in person. Do you have it in Sask? I will be making a trip down there very soon. Might look you up, show me that "Tight Shirted" saloon that you hang out at...:D:D

I dont think I am defensive at all. You asked WTF? I tried to explain to you WTF. Pretty simple if you ask me.......

It's all good. Sorry for hyjacking this thread. I am sure i'll see alot of these boys on the hill this year, including Paul. He does build a great kit. Anyone who buys it will be happy.

Ok DUDE;), my turn to ask WTF? I hope that you meant that anyone who buys Paul's kit WILL be happy:D. BTW, I didn't quite understand your very first reply on here either, but I see your point now. Maybe you could have explained it a little better at first, but WTH, it's all good:cool:. We need snow bad!!

ha ha yah very nice kit just more money than most are willing to spend well worth the money though if you have it.:D:beer;:beer;

If you factor in everything that comes with the HP3, it isnt anymore money. Brads price is done deal ready to ride. Everyone elses price is "Oh, and you will need clutching, drivers, a seat, this, that and bla bla bla".

I have never, ever seen a kit that has the type of fit and finsh as the HP3. It's a work of art.

i 100% agree with you i have talk with brad about the kit & iam seriously considering one just would like to try or see one in action first.anything brad does he seems to do first class all the way,i meant that most guys complain about paying 6000$ for a kit so 10000$ is more than most guys will spend.most kits are 8000$ or more once installed & ready to go so you would almost make up the cost diff in one year of fuel costs.:beer;:beer;

Lol. Yes I did mean anyone who buys Pauls kit WILL be happy.
I have a tendency to split hairs, and am overly anal with the way my sleds run. So it's probably unfair to compare my sleds to others based on this.

So again, anyone who buys Impulse Turbo's will be happy with there kit!!

I have also rode and raced Val's propane Nytro. The neat thing about them, is your boost levels are almost indefinite. You can run 10 lbs, or 25lbs depending on the conditions of the day with no worries of fuel.
