All around sled

Mcx Nytro

I have been out of sledding for 3 years and am looking to get back in for the next season. I have had 15 different sleds including a fully done nytro turbo for my last sled. I am looking for a GREAT:noidea::noidea: all around sled 2/4 stroke. I want lots of hp:face-icon-small-win:whoo:...at LEAST 260. I want lighter weight,:amen: GREAT riding on the rough trail, and of course GREAT climbing. I have done the chutes:boxing::whoo:, and am NOT into the high mark; but want a TOTALLY reliable sled running on av gas and around the 260-300 hp. I will have about $30,000.00 to build one Which way would you think to go?? I am open to ANY:face-icon-small-sho brand, or any combo of brands, so PLEASE no brand bashing!! Given your knowledge what would you build with the given parameters???? Thanks in advance Terry

get a carbon fiber xp chassis and put the o so reliable nytro engine in it with either a impulse turbo or a simmons propane. maybe even a apex engine. yamaha engine are great on boost.

A Stage 3 Supercharged Nytro would be meet your power needs and reliability, but probably not the weight!!

If I had 30,000 to spend I would buy a Pro RMK with a Race Gas Boondocker Turbo!!!

Hope you figure something out,
Ryan

I would buy a new 800 proclimb, add a 174"x3" kmod

and a propane turbo kit, 130 octane, you would be in it for about $20k, 500 lb sled with 300HP all day long. would be cheap to operate from day 2 day

I would buy a brand new 2012 pro rmk, sell the motor, and install brads 1100 twin billet motor(lighter then stock motor as well), if I wanted more power...brad can turbo it as well...new pro 11grand, brads motor complete..about 12 grand, sell the stocker...3500 credit, buy a great skid..2500 and a 3x174 with avids drop case...gonna be in it about 25 grand..without a turbo...bone stock reliable..and will run with most of the run what ya brung group..and down the road a turbo can be added.....

Exactically what I was going to say !

Recently purchased an XR 1200 with XP plastics and front suspension, CR built chassis w/ 174" track, powderlites Stage 3 turbo. 325hp and 17lbs boost.

I have owned a propane Nytro, MCX apex both fully built chassis, and ridden many different combinations. Hands down my skidoo XR is the best handling, easiest to ride snowmobile I have ever climbed on with a ton of power. It would be my recommendation without a doubt.

I'd suggest a PRO-RMK (2013, waaaaaaaaaaay better) witha Boondockers Race Gas turbo, some awesome clutching setups, and a few carbon fiber goodies. Should cost you 25k, give or take. SWEET SLED!
