Air bags? Anyone got a dealership

We have probably 10-15 of us that will want in on a deal.
Had heard some rumors of ?"backcountry" coming out with something about 1/2 the price of what is out there now?

Been talking to Cade (snowbigdeal) about them......they are taking pre-orders and expect BCA to be delivering them around the first of the year....according to BCA (take that for what its worth) They have been far behind on release of other products.

That said I see 2 things. #1 Being a new to market product and knowing that they are half the price of the others I don't see them budging on price. Even for group deals.

#2- while talking to Cade at the Snow Show and digging a little deeper into these BCA Float 30 packs......they have not been "REAL WORLD" tested at all. No dummy drops, no history of saves, how it reactes in a REAL slide etc. That doesn't make me feel to secure yet about the product. I like all of the aspects of it....Price,size,re-usable charge, etc. But I don't think I want to be a first season guinea.

I would say this Jed,
If the product is derived off the same principles that make the "expensive" packs and essentially is a balloon that hangs off your back? I am good with that!

I would agree....something is always better than nothing.

I won't be getting one this season anyway. With GPS, Tekvest, and paying for togwotee....I won't have enough plasma left in my body for a Balloon

You guys with all your new found power, I guess I will just have to let you try the hills first and then I will clean up the sloppy 2nds.

'spose to be available dec. 1. based on the ogio flak jacket w/ the balloon added. thats what i'll be sportin this year.
