Aftermarket injectors?

I'm having issues with my '12 858. Runs like a champ 90% of the time, but every now and then while I'm riding 75-100% throttle, I get a momentary bog and it runs on one cylinder. A little research shows that these 800's have had injector issues, which would make sense since my AFR gauge goes lean whenever the bog hits. No codes are showing up on the display however.

I'm pretty sure it's an injector issue, nothing else really makes sense with symptoms I'm seeing. I'm wondering if my best bet is to buy a replacement polaris injector, or should I switch to aftermarket ones? I'm fueling with a PCV currently. Obviously no warranty, since I put the 858 kit in.

my sba 2011 have this problem ....seem to run on one cylinder when WOT and rev at about 7000 rpm . Not all the time but sometime it's happened more.

I have change my injector and fuel filter, the same problem again. I will check my tps values this afternoon with my pcv.

If your running to rich and you sled starts misfiring your af gauge is going to go lean because its not using up the oxygen in the charge.

What color injectors do you have right now? Yellow are the ones you should have. Yellow are factory replacements but requires you ECU to be reflashed for them.

I would never suggest to put an Aftermarket injectors in a Pro. The stock ECU has a set of specs. for the injectors such as deadtime. This is the reason why when you replace your stock Red or Blue injector sets with the Yellow you will have to get your ECU reflashed.

I don't think this is the issue. When it happens, I'm usually running around 12.5 on my AFR, and I've confirmed this with my plug readings.

So if my stock injectors are red, but the ecu is marked for yellow do I still need to reflash?

Yes. ECU needs to be flashed for the injector color. I replaced yellow with yellow last year, mine was a wiring rub through, two new injectors under warranty.

So I checked my injectors, they're definitely yellow. Can I just swap in a new set of yellows without re-flashing? And would anyone know if they come in a set, harness and all so it's just plug and play?
