There was nothing impressive about the trex at Fairview, it was sputtering and missing the whole time he was testing it. Not impressed with the look or the performance!
Oh really, thats amazing, I thought you would be impressed by the 150yds of lag and 16:1 af ratio it was running.
This sled has ripped up mountains for 5 yrs and I have one off day and all the sudden its not impressive. Trial and error......thats how its done.spare me the gratuitous compliment next time dustin. and the finger track had nothing to do with the way trex ran. youll soon be reminded, old turbo almost back on, had to leave to take my kitty for a ride today, I was actually able to beat Sam on the Phazer with it tonight, I dont have any video to prove it but I promise you it did beat the little 488 fan.....
Here are a couple vids for ya. First One is of the TRex racing at Fairview 2 years ago, you were in this heat on your 700 that you told me friday was faster than your nytro, dont feel bad, I think you got 2nd place

You know I like you guys, we talk all the time, but we are all competitiors. So, in the spirit of competition I want to issue you a challenge. Lets me, you, jeremy and zeb on Andrews m1k meet up and run em again. Lets bring some video and well see if my M8 is in "its own little class." You guys will prob get me, who knows, thats not what Im trying to prove, I just want to prove that my little m8 is right there with all 3 of you. Bring it beeotch! LOL!

Never claimed to be faster than the TREX , I now how fast it is but your M8 well you are lucky you was going as slow as you was when you fell off LOL any time except for the april 18th daughter has a dance competition. but you now i am always game . I now the TREX is stupid fast my nytro is not even in the same class. So lets go to a real hill and yes you might have to climb over a couple little hills to get to the big one to race. I look forward to it your a great guy and a great friend BRING IT.

Dave, you need to get the TRex going to. I want to see how my Apex does against it, I have it back together and running again. I doubt I'll be able to keep up with a 100 shot though.

alright freak whats the horsepower level? on the Trex. and are u riding it this year at the shootouts?
update: old turbo back on, made a couple small changes and will be taking her out to see if we got the prob solved as soon as weather is decent. Prob switch to a front mount over the off season but for now use what has worked. Summit X at 22lbs the RX1 motor should be around 350-390 hp range plus nitrous.

LHF, what kind of horse power numbers are you getting from T Rex and your M8? Didn't know there was a Fair View shootout, just the yami fest and Big Iron/Dawg shootouts. Cool sleds guys, can't wiat to start in on my build (my first mod sled).
