You should hop on it tomorrow. Adds about 4 miles to that trail. I think they're just trying to keep people off till next year to allow natural settling. It's a windy fun section.

Basically it deviates from the existing trail part way from the bottom. Must be where you saw the branches. Then it intersects again about halfway up. So your entry and exit point on 40 are still the same just a longer lower half.
Well it was rippin good tonight. Marc had a flat right from the parking lot. Found some guys with Fix-a-Flat and air but didn't work. He turned back and went home to get his wifes bike and I had the whole mountain to myself. Yee Haa
Marc came back and found me and we rode well into the darkness.
Note to self: Adjust headlight down to the ground. Had a few fly off's into the tree's. All parts should be bent back for tomorrows ride with Bossrev.

I have ridden that trail/area probably 100+ times on my mtn. bike, but never on a MX bike. I love love that trail (40?) that drops to the cascade road.
I know it as the "Joy" trail. Kinda gay name but it rocks at mach 5 on a full suspension!

Funny you mention that cuz I was busting out the mtn. bike tomorrow untill Jacob said he would be able to ride dirt bikes. Can't wait again.......

I know for a fact that you see more on the peddle bike than the motor bike.

Great ride today with Bossrev
Punched a hole in my Magnesium cover. Made it back to the truck with a second chance to ride, thanks to Duct Tape.

Honestly wish I could have stayed in town to ride some more (after repairs
).Got home and the bike was leaking like a Mutha. Must have had some good Karma built up for today.

midnight update:
Hatch got his laundry done a day early so it looks like he's in.
Fact - i got all the elec. done on "Frank the Tank"....its not a hill killin skicant 860 but it should do ok
