so i know this question has probably been asked 1000 times and its pretty much impossible to answer but maybe i can get some opinions from those of you who have used them on an xp. Ill be running an 09 and i am ordering a turbo kit today. I own a diesel performance business and i am a dealer for garrett so it makes it very hard for me to get into the aerochargers. not gonna lie they scare me a little lol. How do they perform compared to the garrett chargers and how many guys are having electrical issues running the kits with garrett chargers.

If you're a dealer for Garret go that way. I am real happy w/ the 2860 on my sled. Wouldn't mind trying a bigger turbo though. You can use the oil pump off the engine on a Garrett. Mine has an electric pump, and I did loose the voltage regulator last year. No idea if it was related.
If you are a low boost guy, the aero will be nice. if you dont like limits ....
The aero has LIMITS,, and when you exceed them you pay dearly.
I've had 16 aeros and 5 garretts.. garrett for me no comparison..
as far as hp,, you wont beat the garrett,, so many options and sizes to choose from its hard to compete.
be realistic in your end use of the sled.

well i like to push the limits lol. i got offered a pretty good deal on a aero 66 kit and im supposed to call them back today. they said they stopped playing with the garretts cause of voltage issues. thats when i pretty much decided to stay away from them but when i saw people on here loving them then i figured there has to be more to the story. are any of you guys running the gtx chargers. i think im going to try to call around. who makes a solid kit with a garrett? I wanted to build my own but i feel like it might cost more in materials after im done haha.
Turbo performance makes a very nice kit. He also offers garrett or aero. Call him and he can tell you what would be the best fit for your application.
