adhesive for hood screens

i know you guys talked about it a couple of days ago, but now i cant find the thread nor do i remember the type of 3m everyone recommended

Use Uerathane (sp?) If it will glue glass to metal, it should hold almost anything. Use rubber gloves though, you actually have to wear it off of your skin once it's on there.

the 3 m black weather seal adhesive works great

3M emblem adhesive has worked great for me. Its clear if you dont want black.

Believe it or not but hot glue works pretty good.
Easy to deal with too.

I second the motion, used it on my mtx and was really easy and looks pretty good. The fact that it sets up pretty quick allows you to keep some of the wrinkles out ie keep it tighter.

I use fiberglass screen door material--put down a bead of black silicone--lay the screen in the RTV then smooth it out and put some more on and smooth it agian--let dry--works awesome!!
