94 xlt help

We have an xlt 580 from time to time has a bog carbs seem to be good. We thought it was sucking powder so we sealed the airbox put on new prefilter material but still has a bog at times

If you lift the hood when it bogs does the filter have snow sitting on it? We had to upgrade to the type of intake used on a 97 RMK which takes air from behind the windshield rather than under the hood in order to fix the problem.

It has a newer hood on it as well don't seem to have any snow getting to the airbox
