Following up on my Jaws Trail Can. Finally made it out to try it. Had my 21 800 with the SLP can with. The Jaws was just slightly louder than the 800 with the SLP. I'm happy with it. I also weighed stock vs the Jaws and it was just over 10lbs weight savings. I did have a slight bug issue but am attributing that to the over oiling breakin period right now.
I only have one ride on the Bikeman can. I didn’t weigh anything but it’s significantly smaller/lighter than the stock one. Louder of course but not like first gen GGB loud. I didn’t seem to experience any bogs or loss of RPM riding between 3-6000’. So far so good.
what didnt you like about it? i've got one on my 600 and 858 and i like them.
So we have had reports on the Jaws trail and rowdy cans. Has anyone run the Jaws race can? Sound difference between it and the trail can?
I'm running the Jaws race can, sounds great. It's not as loud as the ggb cans I've heard, but I wouldn't want it to be any louder
Mine (jaws race can) sitting on the bench gonna put some "black" in the factory can before I install the Jaws, get her broke in , gonna be road riding for a few more storms anyway !!
Surprised HPS was not mentioned in any of these posts.
I have the HPS can, it's awesome. Sounds great and the sound level is spot on; deep but not loud.
I have the Diamond s, I think it’s a bit louder than the one I had on my proclimb then ascender, especially when the valves are open. You can really hear the difference when the exhaust valves open like when they cycle at start up. It’s not loud by loud can standards though, just seems a bit more noticeable than my previous one.

This was on an 858? I have a couple of SLP trail cans that sound pretty good but want something a little louder, but not as loud and the ggb mountain can. I pick up my ride this friday, probably run it a day or two stock but do want something light and louder. How much?
Race cans aren't just louder. They're obnoxiously loud.
The Jaws race can isn’t to bad but the rowdy one is very loud. I use the trail can just slightly louder than stock
Ok, just got my 858 diamond S yesterday. It weighs less than yours. Weird. 2lbs 15oz and the stocker about 18.5lbs. 16lbs of weight loss, I’ll take it!

Well, our stock cans were exact same weight, but my diamond s was lighter. Mine is brand new from
Diamond S this week. I wonder if they changed how they are making them since mine is about 1/2lb lighter.
His website says 3.6 and lose 17.6 i believe since he updated.
Maybe a bit different? I preordered and pretty sure I got one of the first runs. Doubt they would change production much but who knows? Also weighed with the pin and washer on the diamond s since the factory has a built in pin up top to hold. And using cheap Chinese amazon special digital scales. Either way it shaved a ton of weight and sounds good without being obnoxious. Im happy and not going to sweat 1/2 a pound lol
Well went ahead and put the Jaws Race can on the 858 after couple hours on the stock suitcase, I must say it's not obnoxious like my BMP can is on my 20 hardcore which is rat nasty in the trailer and on the snow also . Fired the 858 up and it isn't nearly as loud as the BMP , kinda sounds like my Cutlers can on the 900 King cat deeper tone , throaty sounding. it will be interesting once it's out and wicked up on the snow !! Saved a ton of weight , my God that factory can is worse than even the old 900 suitcases .
