anyone running the holz stir up vents, can you get enought coolness from just these... is there anywhere to buy these holz vents, beside holz itself, mainly looking in canada...thanks

have have the 2 cool dash vent ..... just a suggestion when installing it put some silacone on it before putting it on the dash as they dont seal verry tight.

I just got those on my sled and did very well at cooling and got rid of the belt heat issues I had.

I just put these on and am concerned about snow getting in the clutch side. I was going to put screen behind it but ended up not.

How did the clutch side perform on yours? Any snow injestion onto the secondary?

I was having serious belt heat issues too the point that it would burn your hand when touching the primary. I am very happy with the vents and belt temps. I never had any issues with them at all.

is there a reason for blocking out the headlight?

i think it looks better, if i didnt night ride every once in awhile i would have just done the whole headlight delete kit

Can't give to much cooling to those clutches. I also replace the slp flow right material with phifertex to flow better with their kit. Same stuff used on the hood.

so your happy with just the holz footwell vents then i take it??? only venting your running??

i have that exact sled..i am jus wonderin if that is a headlight cover cuz i have bin lookin for one..& what type of paint u used to paint ur vents cuz i want mine white...

2cool side pannel vents, slp hot air illimination kits left and right side and slp stirrup vents, and i painted the hood vents silver

it is just a headlight delete kit trimmed down to be a cover, mod rods sells them and has them on their website www.xxxmodrods.com. however if your sled is turbo'd like mine i'd highly reccomend the vented headlight delete kit like i have on my sled now, you still have a light but it is fully vented to help blow out all the hot under hood air, as for the vents i just used krylon plastic paint three or four good coats and then a couple coats of clear.
