The point is the 300 lx skidoo track is a better performing track than Polaris tracks and more durable too. Polaris closed the gap with the 3.25 but it’s still not as good.Calm down everyone. TRS came out and announced he was mad at the forum. I was busting his balls. I’ve bought a few clutch kits and alignment bars from him.
I still don’t get the point of 711 running the 300lx in the hill climbs. Isn’t the preferred track the old Polaris 2.4? So what’s the point?
Is there a max lug height rule in RMSHA? I know they cut them to get a flat surface for the screw heads to sit on and stiffen the lugs, but didn't know if there is a regulation height mandated now. They have to cut them down. They all run same height with traction screws.
I just read through the rules. No max height, just minimum of 1.0". Looks like there are a little bit different rules for each class. Is there a max lug height rule in RMSHA? What do you see as the major difference (performance/application wise) between the old Lynx track and the new staggered track? What's the difference between the Lynx and the 300LX?At TRS we run the 300LX and the Lynx tracks on the Matryx chassis
155 9R: new 300LX
165 Boost: last years Lynx full center paddle
3.0 pitch
163 850/900: 3” Extreme
163 800 turbo: 3” Extreme
The new 300LX has offset lugs unlike the first gen Doo track and first gen 300LX. The Freeride/Lynx track now shares that. Wouldn’t call it an old Doo track but an updated Camso track.Good to see a old doo track working well for polaris.
Would Polaris put a skidoo track on from the factory? [emoji16]
