I bought a 3 gallon case of semi syn for $26/gallon at a Michigan dealer last week.

Motor oil is still high from going up when oil was almost $150 a barrel,
I wish it would come back down like gas.
Just changed oil in my box truck, 5 gallon Rotella at $60+

It's the Predelivery check list everyone should have signed it when they picked up there sled. Also the R motor has been formulated to run on XPS mineral even though they recommend xps Semi. Here is what the check list says.

"The dealer has informed me of the importance of using XPS 2 stroke syn blend or xps syn oil"

Second box says

"The dealer has verified the the injection oil reservoir has been filled with xps syn or semi syn oil"

haha, well i havent run it for years (since '06) and IIRC it was just under $50canadian/gal. im sure they have jacked our price up since.

Thats mainly the reason i switched to royal purple oil. For the same price i could be running a much better oil...
