Thats cheap i paid 65 last winter in calgary from the deal i bought mine rom. I ride with some of the guys that work there and even they can only get it at 45/4L. So 51 aint that bad.
That's why we bought and split a 55-gal drum of Phillips 66 InjexPro (Semi-Synthetic), came to $15.50 a gallon. I also used it last year on my 08 XP, and 1400-miles later it's still running great.
My local dealer had a 16-gal drum of the BRP XP-S SemiSynthetic, they wanted $485 for the drum. Do the math and it's still not a very good deal. But I guess it's still better than paying over $51 a gallon?

$35 here in Idaho. It is $5 bucks higher per gallon from last year.
It might be time to look for another reputable brand that carries semi-syn. I'v found semi-syn keeps my exaust valves almost "gum" free compared to full-syn. My dealer made me sign a waiver to run at least their semi-blend or they would not honour my engine warranty. Did everyone have to sign this crap? What is the reasoning behind this? Are their motors so prone to calving that I have to run super oil. I know that the crank runs grease and I know a few that have spun the outters on their XP
That's BS, there's a law that says they can't make you run their oil unless they supply it to you. As long as what ever oil you want to run meets Ski Doo's specs they can eat chet.

Yeah, but are you willing to spend months of time and money on a lawyer or just pay the $2500 for a new motor. They will fightto the bitter end.
That is illegal and I personally would never walk through that guy's door again except to stop in and tell him how many thousands of dollars I spent somewhere else.
Yeah... Okay... So instead of paying $51.10 on a gal of oil I wil spend 10k on a turbo to compensate for the extra 100lbs. Real savings there. All you yammi guys must not hate doos to bad since you always find time to roam our site.
