i was watching ctv news today, talkin about another ridder killed in ontario on thier groomed trails. he went of a corner and plunged 25 feet with his sled on top of him, the locals were complaining they need more signs showing curves and hills like highways. those guys would die like flies out here in the west if they rode out here. there aint no groomed trails, or signs in the steep and deep, just usin common scence. my rule is , if ur unfermarilar with an area, slow down and take mental notes of the area. ive been riddin for 35 yrs and have never been involved in a trail crash or road crossing crash. i laugh my arse of wen i watch snomobile tv and c a the sleds riddin in single file down a groomed trail, with the 2 up seats grocery getter machines. i would get out of riddin if thats wat snowmobiling was about.

:DYeah there's alot of that type of rider around here, but usually on the weekends near a major town. Come visit on a weekday and find a 121 incher with 144 studs and 8" of carbide and I can show you the better side of trail riding.
