3" track sh!t the bed

Wouldn't this be a warranty claim? Since when can a track not tack some beating on? Logs, rocks, whatever. It's not like you were stuck sawing on the rock for 2 minutes.

Nope, the track didn't fail due to manufacturing or material failure.

So, I've already replaced my stock a-arms because they are made of putty. Now I should proactively replace my 3" track because if it touches anything but snow, It's going to shed lugs. Sheesh....

Rich... I'm a skeptical ...but open to learn something.

When you say "you'll have plenty of room"... how much are you talking about? Where are you measuring?

Can you post pics?

The track is on Paul's Axys. I don't remember how much room there is, but Paul was more than happy with the clearance. I don't have any pics. Also, I would rather put a 3.2" in an Axys than a 3" in a Pro-Ride.

I rode with 3 peeps this past weekend here in Wyoming- they were from Spanish Fork Utah- They all had the 3.2 with 7 avids- and ran ok.
2 had the stage 3 SLP
The 3.2 is pretty tight especially at the bend top side in the tunnel- and less than a finger width in the front/
Bottomless powder all weekend I'll say it again yes it was bottomless!!- was there a difference?.. yep - huge -nope- not night and day for sure in the snow conditions we had.
With a little base I think this will be the ticket especially with the snow depth we have currently.

I spoke to Paul Yesterdy @ FNI and he did say it was tight also but the trade off was noticable..

I was at Wolf Creek last week and dont remember hitting anything but when I got home I put sled up on lift and 1 lug in the middle of the track was missing. The sled has huge power but rode my 2013 three seasons hitting all kinds of sh--t and never even tore a lug. I think there may be alot more issues as the season move on.:face-icon-small-con
