The weather is lookin good for the weekend and as the pictures show on 4cfed's post, the conditions are epic!!!!

Parking will once again prove to be the biggest obstacle. Even though we are all in the first large lot, many of us will have RV's.

Let's make it a group effort to park smartly and use as little space as your land yachts require. Please take the time to spot for someone who may need a hand parking. Pack em tight.

We will have a bonfire area against the back wall of the lot with plenty of standing room for everyone.

Remember were all friends here :beer;and don't need any negative press.

See ya guys up there!!!

1200, aren't you supposed to be in school right now?

My boy and I will be up early on Friday and Trav will be up around 5:00 pm. Give me a call if you guys need any help setting up on Friday.

I am in school:) Busy working in my communication class (snowest).

I will be leaving here Friday morning to come over for the big race!

I know Mr.Prez will love to have as much help as he can get.

Unfortunately the Oregon Representation of SAWS will not be able to partake in the fun for the weekend. I was really looking forward to being there, but our house is now finished and I am moving in after living in my trailer for the last 8 months.
I will send my donations in via snail mail this year.

AJ, send me the Glacier Cruisers address and I will get a donation out to you guys as well. You all did a great job last year and I KNOW it will be better this year, keep up the good work.

I would think we will wait until the big names are all up on the hill. Richy Rich beter be front and center!

Parking jams will be the only hold up. I will be done with breakfast and Yoga around 10:30. So lets say 11am?

Can someone get me directions? Yes, I've been there.... but to get OTHERS there I'm of no help. :)

Thanks!

cook rd exit off of I-5
Head East.
Left at First light, HWY 20.
Heading East Turn left onto Baker Lake HWY, approx 20 miles from I-5
About 5 miles up Baker Lake Hwy you will see the Welcome to Mount Baker National Forest sign, take the next left onto the gravel rd.

If you are later than say 9am on Saturday you will probably see the rigs parked out on the street.

If you are later than say 9pm on Thursday you will probably see the rigs parked out on the street.

Now it's fixed!

By Saturday morning they'll be parking at the lake!

I't would be cool to be able to drop the sleds off at the snow then Park a couple miles down the road, out of the way of the folks staying over night and get someone to ferry the riders back up to their sleds for say,...$10.00 a head.
I'd pay it if someone provided this.
(of course this would mean they'd need a ride at the end of the day too)

Parking is going to be a challenge!

I would awesume you can't park down on the Baker Lake Hiway, could be ticket or tow area. Not much room on the road up. This will be interesting.

Is there enough time to build a parking garage for all the extra peeps that are gonna be up there!!!! :beer;

OK so here we go for the shuttle. I'll put my boy on the shuttleing--H'e 14. He could run the 4 door dodge all day long up and down the hill--he could even tow a 2 place so that he could shuttle sleds. He could charge say $5 a head or $10 if you have need your sled hauled each way. I could then split the profit with him say 50/50. Could possibly pay for my trip over for the weekend. I get to sled OR drink beer (they don't mix in my book) all day long and all would be good. The boy would think it would be good too because he got to drive all day long. It's a win-win for both of us. Tickets for parking on the BakerLake highway are your own problem.
Any takers?

My worry is there is only about 15 spots max along the road until you get to Baker Lake Hiway. The parkinglot will be filled Firday night. Where is everyone else going to park. Last year and the 2 previous years we were parking way up on the road and all the way down to the upper lot. Not the same this year, motor homes and 4 places trailers will have the lot filled Friday night. Just voiceing a concern. Where else can people park?

I think the club should address this.
