2025 g5 reflash coming for turbo waistgate actuator.

I've posted my problems I'm having with my 25 summit turbo in another thread.
42 miles dealer had no clue nor did brp so they gave me another sled. Mine had a voltage threshold code for waistgate. There is a tsb for this. They checked the new machine and it was also out of specs. Some actuators are moving slightly more or less and throwing code and causing limp mode. Many people have replaced the actuators. Brp built a new tune file with different voltage parameters to fix this issue TODAY. I saw the email from a brp engineer at dealer today. The tune widens the voltage sweep on sensor. Gives it more room for voltage range so it won't throw code. This is a worldwide issue on this engine. Hopefully this new machine runs good lol.

Yes it would appear. The brp guy said on an email they have been working on a solution since December 29th. So they have been aware and yet dealers keep selling machines and had no idea. They had another 25 in there with a smoked ecm and injector.

Is the sled throwing codes and going into limp mode upon start up or while riding? I believe the waste gate servo does a position check upon start up and cycles open then closed. Just wondering if the problem can be spotted before getting deep into a ride.

My buddy had the coolant temp sensor fail on his 25’ at under 50 miles. This was the day after his 24’ lost the ECM. Some electrical gremlins definitely coming out on the 24’ and 25’ it seems.

After how many of the servo motors I’ve lost for the rave valves over the years I wasn’t overly excited to see that the waste gate servo is the exact same one and located in a hot seat by the turbo. Although if I’m understanding correctly this issue is related to the ECM being overly sensitive to the voltage coming from the position sensor for the waste gate servo and not the motor itself.

Yes it goes into a self check when it starts. Every machine is a little different and if this voltage on the actuator ia off a little it throws a code. Basically they just loosened the parameters in the tune file so it won't throw a code. Kinda a bandaid for inconsistent parts or waistgate rod adjustment. I never saw a code on my screen but they found code when they scanned it.
