2024 RMK Khaos Slash

Hmm, now that's an interesting thought. I'll have to test that out. Off in the deep, though, I can't imagine it makes much of a difference. Granted you don't need them then but I also don't stop to put them up either.
It actually makes a big difference. Several sled lengths. For the guys on here that care about the dumbest little things, putting your scratchers up is a cheap and easy way to make your sled perform better. ??‍♂️

Not everyone drinks too many Coors Lights and drives in reverse with their scratchers down. The stock ones have worked fine for me over the years. ??‍♂️ I've never wrecked a set of scratchers but I have that really uncommon thing called "common sense" ?
You’re so cool.

Weld a piece of carbide 10 mm wide on the tip. Then you'll have something.

Find a sled similar to yours and take turns drag racing each other with one guy with scratchers down and the other guy with them up. Then do it vice versa. Pretty sure you'll never ride with your scratchers down again unless you have to. I don't think guys realize how much drag they really do create.
Chadly the legendary drag racer comes out of the closet and reveals the secret?

If you can weld carbide I’ll be impressed. [emoji23]
I've welded over carbides on skis, it stuck so i assume u can weld carbide.
Solder, glue, bond, what have u.
Weld a piece of stainless, anything with some width to move more snow into the skid.

You can weld over it.

But try welding it to something and it will shatter and fall off right away.

Carbide is brazed to steel for a long lasting bond.

You know you're in trouble when all the sponsored riders are talking about the new reversible scratchers that the rest of the industry had years ago! That was the first thing I did to every sled I've owned for the last seven or eight years was to throw away the junk wire scratchers and put reversible ones on.
Riding buddy is on a Doo Turbo. If it is set up and he doesn't attach his snow flap that thing gets darn hot. My Polaris Slash on the other hand with no snowflap does not need it. There reason Polaris took their time is they had a decent cooling to start with. No flap, no problem, no goofy hand gaurds, no problem, no Shot, no problem. Don't give me crap and make me pay for it if I don't need it.

bought doo reversible scratchers for my 23 boost at doo dealer for 100 bucks whats the big deal bragging about these new scratchers on a 25k sled?
There is a lot more than that offered Polaris this year. What is new for Doo?
