They are not going to show there 2022's just yet. If they had any up there, they are probably covered in the old plastic. I dont see much change on the mountain sleds anyway though as they are pretty new to begin with.

Id like to see a new engine but their chassis is awesome, that sled rides way better then my axys ever did and the sled just doesnt get stuck like the other brands, maybe thats the track being so good im not sure. A new engine or turbo would go a really long ways, along with a better intake, steering post needs some serious love, and maybe taller spindles.Cat's due for a new sled. They need to stay relevant. The Alpha is a good sled but has too many fixes to make it a great sled, time for a new chassis. Reliability has been so so with the 2018+ cats as well, main reason for selling mine. Reviving the Black Cat's shows a bit of commitment for the future but even Arctic Cat's ATV and SXS haven't seen anything exciting in years. It would be great to see a lighter raised chassis with a bigger power plant but I won't be holding my breath for a new sled.
Well the sleds I saw literally had the 60th anniversary logo on the hood similar to the 2012 sleds 50th logo. They had a film crew there with cameras hanging off the sleds. This is how they create their brochure pictures/videos. We were stopped and asked if we could leave Brooks Lake so they could film without us in background. I only saw a few of the sleds but the Hardcores I saw had nothing visually different on the exterior other than BNG. They did say 8000 on the hood but who knows. There was a Blast with the Riot twin rail skid. The only other sled I noticed was a couple T-cats which appeared same but idk. Hopefully something in the lineup will be new.
Were the hardcores you saw twin rail or alpha?
They haven't had any notable updates since the alpha came out.(Okay-ATAC is cool but you never hear anything about it, no hype at all!) If 2022 is BNGs, that'll be the 4th year of basically the same sled. They are not going to show there 2022's just yet. If they had any up there, they are probably covered in the old plastic. Only have to spend about a minute riding a stock 2012 and a stock 2021 to clearly understand they are not even close to the same sled. They haven't had any notable updates since the alpha came out.(Okay-ATAC is cool but you never hear anything about it, no hype at all!) In that time, Ski-Doo has released the Expert model and the factory turbo, and Polaris released the Khaos and had some decent updates with the QD2 and new 3.5" pitch tracks, and in 2022 they'll likely move the mountain sleds to the Matryx chassis.
Some may feel Cat doesn't need to change much, if anything, but the reality is that they need significant updates if they don't want to keep watching their market share slip more and more every year. They need the next 2005 M-series-level debut to get customers excited about the brand again, and then they need to market the crap out of it!
I honestly think that they don't have any hope of gaining market share without releasing a completely new chassis or factory boost. The average consumer still looks at the 2021 and sees it as a 2012 with different plastics and a monorail, which keyboard warriors love to ha
