Something doesn't add up on 154 mountain max
He says 12 lbs of extra fuel??......2.5 x 8lbs is 20lbs lighter on top of 32 lbs = 52 lbs lighter !!
The weight is probably in the track. If they are both le's the 154 has the 2.6 2.86 track and the 165 is a 3in 3.5 pitch. That 2.6 is a really heavy track. But I could be wrong

"2.5 x 8lbs is 20lbs" For some reason I think that the weight of fuel 6lbs is confused with the weight of water 8lbs. So instead of 20 lbs I believe 2 1/2 gallons of fuel would be 15 lbs.
Fuel weighs 6.1 lbs per gallon
It's only one and a half gallons. Pretty positive the doo is 9.4 and matryx is 11. Tanks are smaller than axys tank by half a gallon.
Did he say 12 lbs more fuel in the Polaris for these weights?
Fuel is indeed 6lb/gallon like some others have said.
These numbers in this thread don't make me feel too bad about my 553lb supercharged Alpha with 13gal of fuel on board.
Yep the 154 2.6 weighs 62.2lb and the 165 3 weighs 52.6lb according to Cat specs on those tracks. Those Yamahas also have electric start which puts the heavy old seat and tank on them on top of the other E-start components.

Those Mountain Max are heavy but they also had e-start. Cat's e-start is a joke its around 40lb heavier than non-estart. Also that Mountain Max 154 must have had a 2.6" track which is heavier than the 3" Powerclaw so that is probably why the MM 165 was lighter than the 154. Either way the Pol's are light.
