2019

I was told "slightly" by polaris engineering.

Curious where the 1" figure came from (sincerely).

Even the 36" aftermarket fronts only required a shorter shock of 3/8"

The K-mod at the same 37" measurement did not require any shortening of the IFS shock to deliver the same ride height.

IMO an inch would seriously diminish the travel.

But I'll ask again :face-icon-small-hap

.

I wonder the same thing but when you look at the pictures it does look like less travel IMO.

It came from a reliable source in the industries that had one for a little bit. I asked if the shocks were shorter and he said yes. I followed it with another question of "little?" and he said "No almost an inch".

I've got the Blues !!

Besides the Polaris... i think the Yamaha had the same blue too in the past.

All depends on mount points as to available travel.

Confirmed. The clutch drive belt is reported to be able to go thousands of miles. They even carefully suggested that this belt could last through the first owner of the sled.

It is a number 212 belt. It will fit existing Axys 800s.

I snowchecked one today. Founder's colors (black and gold) since I am damn near as old as the founders. Actually, I think the black and gold is pretty classy and probably will not be seen again for 10 years when I most likely will not be riding anymore. This is my last sled. I figured that I might as well go out on top!

Hell yeah man. Wish I was snow checking one! Congrats!!

The Founder's Edition does look really good out in the sunlight!!!
That bronze is purdy!!!

I'm teetering between that and the minimal lime squeeze.

ArcticFX can probably make a pretty sweet wrap to compliment this theme and take it to the next level.

Based on the model photos on the website, it appears that the RMK models come with a standard undersea storage bag since it shown on everyone of them. However, it is not listed in the specs. Does anyone know if it is included. It isn't a big deal but it would save a little money if it comes with the bag. I don't put bags on the tunnel. The underwear bag is all I want.

Underseat bag not underwear bag! I am a commando guy. No underwear except long johns when I ride.:face-icon-small-hap

FWIW, all 2017 and 2018 SC sleds came with that underseat bag. So I would assume that would be the same deal, and the pics would agree with that. They didn't list it on the 2017/18's either, from what I recall.

Passing on info from a Polaris Rep:

- Why isn’t the 850 offered on the RMK Assault?
Focus is placed on core product segments for year one.

- Did the front shock lengths change on the Pro RMKs from 2018 - 2019? Are the a-arms different or the spindles?
Yes, the React IFS shocks, as well as the upper and lower control arms are designed specifically for the narrower React Front Suspension and are shorter. The control arms and spindles are also new, designed specifically for the React IFS and are forged.

- Do the 2019 800HO motors receive the new sealed connectors like the 850?
The 800 and 600 get the sealed connectors as well but not the new load center (fuse box)

- Are the new PowderTrac XT Running boards simply shorter than last years running boards?
No, it’s all all new dual angle design that gives a lot more clearance in sidehills without shortening the standing area for the rider. Check out an image of the running boards and look at the back….you’ll notice the angled design there when compared to a more squared off design in the past.
